very nice composition laura. wonder a story behind this pic.
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: Yeah, I was thinking that all kinds of stories could be created from this one image.
It looks like this bike is very much loved and used by its owner, Laura!
That's how it should be! Excellent capture here.
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: Yes, it looks like someone (maybe several children) have enjoyed this bike. The little tires seem to be newer than the bike. Too bad the chain slipped. Thank you, Kay.
It doesn't look to be in working order, but it adds a nice splash of color to this shot.
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: Funny you should say that because I was looking through all the photos I took yesterday trying to figure out which to post and I thought to myself, "Find one that has some color!" Luckily, Spring has finally sprung so my outdoor photos will begin to get more colorful in the next few weeks. Yes, the little bike has great color. Thanks, Martin.
Uh-oh. The chain slipped off, I see, but it's one of those bike poses I love to see and capture, Laura, here in Amsterdam. The wee bikes always make me smile. This one clearly has had its heyday!
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: Thanks, Ginnie! I'll be looking forward to your Amsterdam bike shots.
I think its chain has snapped!
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: Yes, and the little boy may have left it there and ran home to get his dad. Maybe?
Aww the chain slipped off and the little owner has had to walk home to get some help. I used to hate it when I had problems with my bike chain when I was a kid.
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: Yes, I think you're right.
A great moment of solitude here. I like the colours!
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: Thank you.
Nice composition ... It promises a good afternoon with children !!!
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: The bike looks to be about the right size for the child in *your* photograph that I just looked at.
everyone is worried about the chain! I'd expect to be pushed along at that age anyway, lol. mal
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: I'm sure it will be fixed and somebody will be riding along on it soon.
hope he didn't forget where he parked him
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: Me too!
Hey this kid with the broken chain should learn to appreciate 'freewheeling' and take it on board as a life style ... Humm now there's a thought ;-). I like this Laura ... think l would have cropped out all the green shrubs. richard
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: You know, I had the green yucca plant cropped out for a while but it made me sick because I just loved it so much. We don't have much green yet and the yucca just looked so good to me.
