little old block garage
I found this little old block garage which appeared to have the original wooden door and wooden frame around the window. I thought it was so cute. I decided to give the image an old look.

The old looks works very well. It looks tiny next to its presumably more modern brethren.
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: Thanks Martin. Actually the building next to it is about 100 years old. But this garage is tiny and looks like it was built for a Model T.
Love the two tone, the framing, the simple, aged looked of the shot.
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: I'm glad you like it. It is a lot of fun to share images.
The lass has done good. richard
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: Yay!
Thanks for taking a look.
Very nicely processed Laura. I like the composition!
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: Thanks Richard. I just thought that garage was the cutest little old thing.
beautiful shot!!! love the tone!
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: Thanks!
The stepped elevation is interesting. A curious little structure that has probably never had the attention of a photographer before.
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: Yeah, I liked the stepped elevation of the roof. It's a cute little thing.
nice processing
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: Yeah, I rarely use the 'old' processing but this time I felt the photo called for it. I'm starting to get a little more experimental. http://www.flickr.com/photos/23704458@N02/ (more photos here and the latest area little experimental) Thanks for visiting my photoblog.
The old look works for me, the stones are such a great pattern, very good job.
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: Thanks Astrid.
The old look via sepia always works for me, Laura. It sure makes you wonder what's on the inside and what stories this place cold tell.
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: Yea, I bet the history and its beginnings would be interesting. Thanks for visiting my photoblog.
I especially like the objcts around the house, a nice setting...the tree on the roof, the fence and bushes....kind of spooky...maybe it's just me getting old
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: Yeah, I know what you mean. I think all old buildings have a litte spookiness about them.
The old look really works Laura
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: Thanks Tracy. I thought it would be fun to try it and I'm glad I thought to do it.
The treatment works really well Laura. I like this very much
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: Thanks for taking a look, Bill.
Nice composition. The sepia works very well on this one. Doorway shots always make me wonder what's beyond the door...?
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: Yeah, me too. I want to go in and poke around and see if there are some 100 year old tools in there.
