yellow plow

Looks like an antique. Is it still in use?
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: I don't think so. It's just sitting in a tiny nearby town next to the railroad tracks and it has been sitting there a long time. I wonder how old it is.
I see plenty of these plows up here, Laura. Especially in the Cascades during the heavy snow season. Great capture!
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: Thanks. The yellow is what attracted me to it.
Maybe it gets taken out at night to plow the streets before everyone wakes up
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: But I see a few tall grasses growing in front of it and in front of the wheel making me think it hasn't moved for a loooong time. I'd like to think it springs into action when no one is looking.
Looks as if it's been put out to grass
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: Yeah, that's what I think.
Very impressive machinery! You captured it very well.
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: Thanks Richard.
It would please Tracy ... Maybe one of her lost invaders hidded in your photo ... ( You can see her photos of the end of january )
Well done !!!
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: I'll have to go look and catch up....lost invaders? Ok.
hard at work
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: He's sitting there dreaming about his glory days plowing snow
I think that plow has a lot of life left in it, Laura, and rightly so. It is a beauty.
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: Yeah, I just love it...it makes me think of a toy.
Come into my jaws... Nice capture Laura
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: Yeah, he looks friendly but those jaws..I wouldn't get too close!
Love the big machinery, great capture, very well spotted.
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: thanks!
Isnt it a great shame to see something which has such a cause to "be alive" yet it is ignored and sidelined. Reminds me of how some old folk are treated.
Fantastic picture. John
Laura, a.k.a. Pristine Waters: Oh, yes, I know what you mean.
Thanks. |
